Acceptable Use Policy

1 Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the acceptable use of IP address resources, services, and infrastructure provided by PeaceWeb B.V., operating as IP Market. This policy applies to all users of the IP Market platform, including lessees, IP holders, and any third parties accessing resources through our network.

By using IP Market services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of services, financial penalties, and referral to appropriate authorities.

2 Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited when using IP Market services:

2.1 Illegal Activities

• ✕Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws
• ✕Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
• ✕Money laundering or terrorist financing
• ✕Drug trafficking or illegal substance distribution
• ✕Weapons trafficking or illegal arms dealing

2.2 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

• ✕Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
• ✕Operating open mail relays or proxy servers for spam
• ✕SMS/text message spam or robocalls
• ✕Email harvesting or address scraping
• ✕Forging email headers or sender information

2.3 Phishing & Fraud

• ✕Phishing websites or credential harvesting
• ✕Impersonation of individuals, companies, or organizations
• ✕Fake websites designed to deceive users
• ✕Social engineering attacks
• ✕Advance-fee fraud schemes

2.4 Malware & Security Threats

• ✕Distributing viruses, trojans, or malware
• ✕Operating command and control (C2) servers
• ✕Hosting exploit kits or drive-by download sites
• ✕Ransomware operations or extortion
• ✕Cryptojacking or unauthorized cryptocurrency mining

2.5 Network Attacks

• ✕Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
• ✕Port scanning or network probing
• ✕Unauthorized access attempts (hacking)
• ✕IP spoofing or packet manipulation
• ✕DNS hijacking or cache poisoning
• ✕BGP hijacking or route manipulation

2.6 Harmful Content

• ✕Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) – zero tolerance
• ✕Terrorist content or extremist propaganda
• ✕Content promoting violence or discrimination
• ✕Hate speech targeting protected groups
• ✕Non-consensual intimate imagery

2.7 Intellectual Property Violations

• ✕Hosting pirated software, movies, or music
• ✕Operating illegal streaming services
• ✕Counterfeit goods distribution
• ✕Trademark infringement

3 Network & Technical Requirements

3.1 BGP & Routing

Users must maintain accurate BGP announcements matching authorized prefixes, ensure proper ROA (Route Origin Authorization) records, not announce prefixes without valid authorization, cease announcements immediately upon lease termination, and follow MANRS (Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security) principles.

3.2 WHOIS & Documentation

Users must maintain accurate and current WHOIS records, provide valid abuse contact information, respond to abuse inquiries within 24 hours, keep IRR records up to date, and maintain proper LOA documentation.

3.3 Network Security

Users are expected to implement BCP38/BCP84 anti-spoofing measures, maintain adequate security for their infrastructure, promptly address security vulnerabilities, not operate open resolvers, proxies, or relays, and implement appropriate firewall and access controls.

Users must respond to abuse complaints within 24 hours of receipt, take reasonable action to address the complaint, provide updates on remediation progress, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

4.3 Three-Strike Policy

For most violations, IP Market implements a graduated enforcement approach:

• 1.First Violation: Warning and required remediation within 24 hours
• 2.Second Violation: Service suspension until issue is resolved, possible financial penalty
• 3.Third Violation: Account termination and permanent ban

Severe violations (CSAM, terrorism, major attacks) may result in immediate termination without prior warning.

5 Consequences of Violations

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• •Temporary service suspension
• •Permanent account termination
• •Financial penalties up to €10,000 per incident
• •Forfeiture of deposits or withheld payments
• •Reporting to RIRs, law enforcement, or industry groups
• •Legal action for damages

6 Policy Updates

IP Market reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Changes will be communicated via our website and, for material changes, by email to registered users. Continued use of services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
