How IP Market Works
Verified. Monitored. Enforced.
Every subnet goes through mandatory verification, continuous monitoring, and documented enforcement.
Verification Pipeline
Every subnet must pass these checks before it can be listed.
Ownership Verification
A PIN is sent to the abuse contact email registered in the RIR database. Only the legitimate owner can receive it.
ROA Configuration
A Route Origin Authorization is created for the IP Market ASN, providing cryptographic proof of routing authorization.
IRR Registration
Route objects are registered in the Internet Routing Registry so any network can verify BGP announcements.
Reputation Check
Subnets are scanned against Fraudcache and major blacklists. Any issues must be resolved before listing.
Approved for Listing
A subnet becomes available for leasing only after all checks pass.
Continuous Monitoring
Every active lease is monitored continuously for compliance.
BGP Announcements
Subnets are verified to be announced only by authorized ASNs.
Abuse Detection
Spam, phishing, and malware activity is detected and escalated.
ROA Status
ROA validity is continuously verified to prevent route hijacking.
Blacklist Scanning
Regular checks against Fraudcache and major DNSBLs.
Enforcement Process
Violations are handled through a documented escalation process.
Escalation Ladder
IP Holder Protection
During the lease, the lessee is responsible for how the subnet is used. Holder involvement is only required if:
- You fail to configure requested ROA/IRR (if not automated)
- You remove ROA/IRR/nameservers without authorization
- You take actions that interfere with active leases
Cooldown and Cleanup
When a lease ends, the subnet is returned clean before re-listing.
